Serve: Chickamauga 2021

Serve: Chickamauga 2021
Saturday, July 10, 2021, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: Oakwood Baptist Church, 115 Oakwood Street, Chickamauga, GA US 30707

We believe that God has called us to serve others by showing God’s love in practical ways by meeting our community's needs.

Getting ready for the upcoming school year can present significant struggles for many in our surrounding area and it is our privilege to assist with backpacks, school supplies, and clothing for kids in our community.

Join us Saturday, July 10 for Serve: Chickamauga! The event will be held for our community from 9:00am-Noon. We are asking all volunteers to please arrive at 8:30am. We will meet in the Oakwood Gym to pray together and provide instructions for the day. You can also pick up a Love Loud T-shirt if you don't have one.

If you have any questions or want to serve in additional ways or times, please email

How do I get involved?
DONATE:

1) Provide backpacks and the supplies needed to fill them.  A fully loaded backpack can be sponsored for only $25.  You can contribute individually, collect money in your small group for multiple backpacks, or even go in with some friends and give $5 each. Our goal for 2021 is to give away 400 backpacks to kids in our area.

i want to serve
"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."  (1 Peter 4:10 ESV)
